Music

Through participation in the music program, students are lead to a deeper understanding of liturgy, performance and theory. Music is of paramount importance in the development of the whole child.

 

Art

Art assists students to use artistic gifts and abilities to glorify God, as they discover and recognize art in the world around them. Learning more about themselves through art expression, students will gain self-confidence in their ability to communicate in the language of art. Studying works and styles of art from other times and cultures will enhance their personal appreciation of art.

 

Physical Education

The Holy Guardian Angels Regional School physical education program is an opportunity for students to become physically literate individuals. It is our mission for the students of this school to value their health and obtain the knowledge and resources to become advocates for themselves. We aim to give the students of HGA a wide variety of physical activities and challenges that will benefit their Physical and mental wellbeing. Our program follows a sequential program of varied areas developing coordination, large and small motor skills, and sportsmanship integrated with Christian principals.  

 

STEM

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education at HGA is critical to ongoing economic success in our students’ lives. Our classroom teachers dedicate one class period a week to tune their students’ analytic and questioning skills to solve problems. Naturally, these skills are encouraged to be used in other content areas.
