Holy Guardian Angels Regional Pre K-4 is a nurturing and safe environment in which learning in a classroom setting is introduced and fostered. Beginning literacy and arithmetic skills are stressed. In addition our curriculum includes music and movement, art, field trips, parent conferences, and outdoor activities. These skills are all incorporated into our activities and playtime! Social skills are taught and encouraged to be practiced through out the school day. HGA embrace all children of all religions.

 

Pre-K Program

Joy in the learning process is encouraged by the understanding and creativity of our dedicated preschool teachers and aides. 

 

It is our goal to:

• Provide a safe, nuturing, and caring environment.

• Foster a love of learning.

• Spark the child's imagination and curiosity.

• Help the child develop a positive self-image and respect for others' rights and feelings.

• Develop the child's basic social skills through cooperative play and a celebration of diversity.

• Enrich the child's use of receptive and expressive language.

• Encourage the child to think and act independently in order to develop problem-solving skills.

• Support emerging cognitive and self-help skills.

• Strengthen gross and fine motor skills.

• Provide opportunities for self-expression through creative arts.

• Promote a cooperative home-school relationship for both child and parent.

• Share the love of God, the father, Jesus the Son, and the Holy Spirit through stories, music, and prayer.

Age Requirements

Pre-K Program: Children who are five by Oct. 15th. Exceptions must be approved by the principal.

 

Extended Care Program

Extended Care is available to students enrolled Pre-K Programs. The After Care program ends at 5:30pm. Please indicate on the registration form what days/times your child will need Extended Care. Parents may use extended care as needed. Details such as beginning and ending dates, specific class schedule, etc. will be provided at the Orientation.
